海から少し離れているのに
電車から降りると、大阪駅のホームの上には潮の匂いが漂っていた
海の方角はあちら、と指し示す方には
大きなビルが建ち並んでいて、いつも殺風景で
あまり落ち着いて過ごしたことのないホームの上に
今日、少し湿り気味の風に乗って潮の匂いがやってくる
どこかの海岸べりの駅に立っているみたいだ
旅先でも何でもない、いつもの道筋にも
思いもよらない自然な情景をみさせてくれて
歩いている人々まで、違った感じで見ることが出来るようになる
また、潮の匂いがする女性がいる
本人も気付かないかすかな匂い
ごく普通にそぶりするだけで
この匂いの中にときめかせるものを含ませている
しかし足早な雑踏にまぎれて
目前の出札口あたりで消えてしまう
ああ残念
さまざまな人のすれちがいから吐き出される、さまざまな匂いに巻き込まれて
明るい店先で、潮の夢は消えてなくなる

太古の夢に繋がる匂いでもあります。
山暮らしをしていて､ふと潮の匂いが風の中をよぎることがあります。

この詩は、遠くなつかしいものでもあり、潮の匂いは今も漂っています。
